Glyph Parchment Treasury - wiki currently says it can be found at approx 500 tiles from the core. Not sure if that's misleading. On my current seed it was 250 tiles from the core, so almost half the stated value.
What's on your mind?

There is permanent Health increase but It would be really sick if that was also the case for mana. cause especially starting out there doesn't feel like there is a big deveopment for summon/mana users until you beat the first 3 bosses. Do you think that this will change in the future?

It is unclear if perks and buffs such as Well-Trained Aim in the fishing skill apply to all ranged weapons. The image of a bow is funny and fits well, but less so since the introduction of magical weapons.
gm. please help me understand what to do. I tried to play a melody, guessed the letters c and e (like 1 letter to choose from) and I don't understand what to do next.
How can i get Easter Workbench. Site said 'traiding' but how? Traiding with who?
sometimes i'm AFK near the core and randomly a red slime is around when i come back, even if there's no slime puddle around, i noticed that sometimes they stick together, especially in the ghorm path (a group of 4-8 red slime reacting aggressively even though i didn't attack and wasn't even close to them)
I assume it's a similar raid "event" when you're in the forgotten ruins and a group of cavelings comes to your location to hunt you down
I really think it should get buffed by the amount of grinding it takes and it just get outclassed few hours later when we find Godsent King armor. Or maybe some accessories that can be with it?
Im a bit salty i grinded like 20h for almost nothing
Hey- so I'm not very knowledgeable about editing wikis (understatement) but I noticed something about the Shimmering Frontier "Tower Shell" wiki, It seems that it can spawn at least 200 points closer than the section on the tower shell said. I simply don't know how to go about editing this or verifying it or whatever respect checks I need to make for a minor thing, so decided to ask here.
I'm making a wiki for another language so that as many people as possible can buy the game.

I've wanted to try and add as much information and polish as I can to the Core Keeper wiki during my free time lately, and one thing I noticed could *possibly* be done better is how some of the pages are organized, e.g there being separate pages for each piece of an armor set, rather than one cohesive one.
I've been using the Terraria Wiki as a reference as to how the Core Keeper Wiki could turn out, and in instances where there's items that are part of a "set", it combines them into one page with all the item information.
Would it be alright if I make pages like this redirect to a whole page on the armor itself, and in turn improve the pages for the sets themselves? I thought I would ask before going and making a change as big as this.
Just some more images I noticed we still need:
Crystal Snail should have an image for when its crystal coating is broken and only the inner gray shell remains. Maybe a sideways image should be uploaded as well, since it, more than other enemies, has a detailed side view.
All of the cooked foods (Object ID 9500 - 9513) are missing proper pages and standard item images.
Several of the Sunken Sea scene objects, such as the Whale Skeleton, Abandoned Ship and Sunken Ship, need proper item images so that individual pages can be made for them.
Likewise, several of the Desert of Beginning scene objects, such as the Mammoth Remains, Hunting Rock, Stone Monument, and Oasis Geysers need proper images as well.
Relics of Alien Tech also need proper images.
Several of the Trees, Potted Plants and Rocks are missing placed images.
Maybe some of the enemies with special animations, like the Cavelings and Caveling Brutes, should have those animations uploaded as gifs.
Still Needed from the first post:
Normal Water and Sea Water, as seen on the map page, still share the same image. One of these (normal water I believe) needs a proper image.
The Core should have a proper Valentines Day image for main gallery at the top.
Non gif for the spirit merchant
Ra-Akar ancient orb (and the new player summoned one)
Resized images for the lit floors and painted floor. the images on these pages are not consistently sized.
Customization options (hair style, etc.) for characters
The drop info for the seasonal figures seems to be incorrect.
Mimite Holiday drop info... is this correct?
What are these missing files exactly? Are these in-game file names?
Heya, I was wondering if there was a discord server where contributors or potential ones would be able to discuss the wiki? Or is that generally done in this section?
I've been keeping note of certain items/objects that need better images on this wiki. While I could take screenshots of some of the images requested below, it would be great if someone could rip these from the game files for better quality. Here is what image are needed:
Ore deposits inside walls... not sure if these are singular images in the files, and they might need to be screenshotted anyway.
Placed trees (the trees with missing images can be seen here. same for the next several requests below.)
Placed bushes
Placed potted plants
Placed rocks
Placed Stone and Festive tables
Many chairs/stools are missing placed images
Full pictures for the broken core sentry
Better single space water and lava images in THIS style.
Non gif for the spirit merchant
Gif for the souls would be nice
Resized images for the lit floors and painted floor. the images on these pages are not consistently sized
Larger image for the valentines day state for the core. The page's main image can be switched between the not activated and started state: being able to switch to the valentines state would be nice as well.
Several of the newly added unavailable items on the placements page need images added
Some Breakables don't have images for all of their variations.
Customization options (hair style, etc.) for characters
Golden crop plants

I have pictures and info on the Throne Room in the Forgotten Ruins. the only problem is I don't know how to make a new page on the wiki for it. So with much hope I will post it all here so someone else with the ability to do so will make the page.
It seems to spawn 350 blocks away from the core. It has 31 ancient crates, a larger one and a loot pillar. Its main building things are 78 stone brick walls, 2 stone pedestals, with 2 Caveling Skulls on them, a Caveling throne, 26 stone floor tiles, 16 Caveling floor tiles, and 8 dark Caveling floor tiles with the Throne room sigil directly in the middle. 2 of the Stone brick walls have ancient gemstones in them. The room on the inside is 16 x 16 minus the corners and the outside inculding the drop into nothing and the floor around it is 24 x 24 again minus the corners.
I'll post the images later because of the limit in the comments.
The improved home page is so much nicer than it was previously, but I think it could include a bit more information. I've been working towards expanding the home page by filling out certain item categories and creating new parent pages; I still have a ways to go but I figured I'd share my plans to see if the rest of the editors agree with the changes, or have an input.
Currently, the home page has 4 main categories: Items, Mechanics, Biomes, Bosses and NPCs. (excluding "The Game" section at the top). In my opinion, this should be adjusted to the following: Items, Placements, Ecosystem, Biomes, Skills, Mechanics, Bosses. These Categories would each include the following:
Items
Tools
Weapons
Armor
Accessories
Pets
Food
Consumables
Materials
Valuables
Instruments
Vehicles
Placements (or Environment?)
Walls
Ground
Material type
Liquid
Pit
Bridges
Floors
Workbenches/Crafting Stations
Electronics
Chests
Light sources
Decorative
Natural (plants, rocks, pit decoration, garden plants)
Furniture
Figurines
Ecosystem
Enemies
Critters
Cattles
NPCs
Vendors
Factions
Biomes
Main Biomes
Sub-Biomes
Skills
Mining
Running
Melee Combat
Vitality
Crafting
Range Combat
Gardening
Fishing
Cooking
Mechanics
Achievements
Character
Controls
Dedicated server
Lighting
Map
Painting
Permanent upgrades (Health, souls, etc.)
Rarity
Seasonal Events

Soundtrack
Technical (world generation, mob spawning, etc.)
Bosses
Progress Bosses
Optional Bosses (event bosses?)
With these changes, many more topics could be easily included, making the wiki more intuitive to search through.
I think using the Terraria Wiki as something of a guide would be helpful: that game already deals with many MANY different items and categories, and I think the wiki does a fairly good job of making the pages easy to navigate.
Several notes -
Not all of these pages even exist yet. Many of them do exist but not yet in a complete or satisfying way. I'm working on these pages now.
Many of these uncreated page names could be changed, for example, pit objects and water objects should probably be categorized together, but I've still not decided on a great unifying page name yet, as the game itself doesn't really provide one.
Several existing pages should have their named change. Farming is called "gardening" in game, but this wiki page calls it farming.
Several pages need to either be expanded, or split. For example, the existing "World" page only describes the world modes, but it should either be expanded to talk about more world features, such as generation, unique scenes and biomes, or it should be renamed to "world creation" or something similar to allow for a world page dedicated to the actual world generation... at least, that's what makes sense to me. Same thing for the character page, but I've already begun to expand that one.
It sounds like Walls and grounds will possibly either become a single item in the future, or will be easily exchangeable, so maybe having separate main page in the Placement section is not wise... I guess it doesn't matter right now. I did include a "Material Type" item, which could be used for lumping different material applications together (dirt wall and dirt ground under "dirt", Sand walls, Sand ground and maybe even glass under "sand", iron armor, weapons and tools under "iron" etc.) This would include more than placement items like walls and grounds however.
Expanding on other thoughts-
The "Natural" page, which does not yet exist, (though I'm actively working towards this one) could, in my opinion, be categorized either in the Placements section or Ecosystem section. some of the items would lean more towards decoration even though they are plants (such as trees) as they don't really have any effect on the world around the; however, others, such as pit objects and gardening plants, naturally generate over time, or are interacted with by cattle. I could go either way on this one; the game sort of suggests these go into more of a placements category, but the human side of me look at a tree or bush in -game and thinks ecosystem.
The Technical page could be a parent page to topics like spawning mechanics/summoning, in addition to other things, however Spawning mechanics is probably a large enough topic to be on its own, and could easily go into the general "mechanics" category or even the Ecosystem category.
Factions could probably go in either Ecosystem or Mechanics.
Due to the existence of certain vendors (think Vending Machine) in the game that are not technically NPCs, I think a separate page for Vendors, or at least Economy, in addition to NPCs would be helpful, even if there is a large amount of overlap. Also, I, and I think a lot of people, consider the Spirit Merchant to be an NPC, even if it technically is not. We also have the Little Helperling crafting station that appears to be NPCs, but really is not, as well. Should function be prioritized over appearance, or would it be helpful if we categorized these together? I guess this is a similar thought to my "are plants decoration or part of the ecosystem" pondering...
Both the Accessories and Consumables pages could probably be broken up a bit more at this point. Potions and Explosives, for example, are so different I don't think they should be lumped together. Off-hand has enough subcategories of its own without being lumped together with Rings and such, I think that page could get broken up a bit more too. Some of the "Casting Items" could probably just be put into the Material section as well (Thread of Fate and Crystal Skull Shard for example.) These are essentially just materials that have a slightly higher function.
What this wiki currently lacks the most are pages in-between large categories (like the Placements page) and individual items. (like the Wood Table) Pages that list only 'tables' or 'offhands' etc. would make navigation easier I think.
Thoughts? I talked about a lot here, but this is sort of my intended direction moving forward. I certainly don't have seniority here, so let me know if any of these changes are undesirable. Input would be appreciated. (as would help!) I'll be making an image request post at some point: there are several images that I need that would be of better quality if they are taken directly from the game files, which I am currently unable to do.
