Azeos the Sky Titan is a boss found within Azeos' Wilderness. It is the first of the six titan bosses unlocked after powering up The Core.
Defeating Azeos and interacting with its soul grants the player the Soul of Azeos, which is required for progression.
Summoning[]
Azeos is summoned by placing a Large Shiny Glimmering Object in its arena, located approximately 550 tiles from The Core in Azeos' Wilderness. An Azeos the Sky Titan Scanner can be used to reveal the arena's location on the map.
Once defeated Azeos can only be re-summoned after its soul disappears, which takes 5–6 minutes.
Behavior[]
Azeos has five different attacks:
- Summoning two rows of thunder beams to its left and right that will close in from the sides.
- Summoning two rows of thunder beams above and below it that will close in.
- Summoning a ring of thunder beams around it that will close in while spinning. The ring will then spread back out.
- Summoning a cluster of thunder beams. Each beam will move randomly in one of four directions.
- Summoning multiple blue crystals that can only be broken with mining damage (i.e. pickaxes and explosives). Once a crystal is charged by a thunder beam, it will begin slowly healing Azeos until destroyed.
Azeos will teleport after completing one of its attack patterns and begin another pattern.
Once Azeos reaches 40% health it will become enraged, causing the thunder beams to move 40% faster.

Notes[]
- The blue crystals will block projectiles.
- If all players die or leave the area while fighting Azeos, Azeos will disappear and must be re-summoned with a new Large Shiny Glimmering Object.
- An Easter variant of Azeos can be fought by using a Large Golden Egg instead of a Large Shiny Glimmering Object.
- In multiplayer, Azeos gains additional health depending on the amount of players in the world. It will automatically adjust whenever a player joins or leaves the world.

Achievements[]
From the Skies! • "Defeated Azeos the Sky Titan" Defeat Azeos the Sky Titan or Awakened Azeos for the first time. |
Tips[]
- Poison is very effective against Azeos, reducing the healing received from the blue crystals by 75%. Sources include the Blowpipe, Poisonous Sickle, Samhain Curse Ring and the Fanhare.
- A shield is useful for reducing the amount of damage taken from the thunder beams.
- When the ring of beams is summoned, players should avoid staying near its center at all costs as each beam will hit at once in a near unavoidable point and instantly kill any player.
- Healing potions (ideally Greater Healing Potions) and Guardian's Potions are greatly advised to ease the fight.
- Large Bombs or Bombs can be placed next to the crystals to quickly destroy them, allowing for more time fighting and dodging attacks (note that Crude Bombs will not deal enough damage).
