Chests

Chests are storage items that come in two sizes: single-wide chests with 18 storage slots, and double-wide chests with 36 storage slots.

There are also locked chests, which can be unlocked by placing a key inside, turning it into an ordinary single-wide chest and allowing players to access its loot. Locked chests appear randomly while mining; each main biome (except for the Clay Caves) has its own unique type.

Functions

Sort

Automatically sorts and stacks together items in the chest. Items are sorted based on their internal ID number.

Quick stack

Automatically moves items from the player's inventory that are already in the chest, creating new stacks if necessary.

• 1.0.1.0: Chests that can float on water (Floating Titan's Chest, Crydra Chest and Atlantean Worm Chest) are no longer offset for one frame when placed.

  • Placing a chest on top of a Cross Circuit no longer causes the interaction highlight to alternate between the two objects.
