The Cloaked Merchant is a merchant available after defeating Ghorm the Devourer and placing the Mysterious Idol inside a valid house.
If the Cloaked Merchant has not moved in yet, they can also be found in a small scene in the Forgotten Ruins. The scene always generates approximately 270 tiles from The Core.

History[]
- 1.0.0.1: The Cloaked Merchants Trades for the Iron Chunk Necklace (320 Ancient Coins) and the Flintlock Musket (415 Ancient Coins) have been removed. The Core Commander Summoning Idol trade has been added.
- 0.7.2.1-008c: Fixed the generation of the Cloaked Merchant room to not contain water beneath the ground tiles, which were colliding with creatures as well as making the water edges disappear.
- 0.3.0-297a: Introduced.
