- The Colossal Cicada Husk appears to belong to an unseen, mysterious species called the Colossal Cicada, alongside the Mold Cicada and Failed Titan. Not much is currently known about this species.
- This is also the only item belonging to the Colossal Cicada species that does not imply the death of its owner.
