The Core Sentry is an enemy native to the Forlorn Metropolis. The Core Sentry will perform both ranged and melee attacks.

Some Core Sentries within a Forlorn Metropolis appear as inactive Damaged Core Sentry statues which drop no loot. When an active Core Sentry is approached or attacked, it will begin to glow and walk towards the player using its ranged attack, shooting 3 shockwaves of light at the player. This can be avoided by hiding behind objects or walls, though the shockwaves can damage furniture upon hit. The Core Sentry can also attack nearby players by kicking them, and can be healed by nearby Caveling Scholars.

Tips[]

  • There are two ways to identify genuine Core Sentries prior to combat. Hostile Sentries will have no vines or plant growths on them, and they may be seen getting pushed around by other enemies.
