Ivy the Poisonous Mass is an optional boss found within Azeos' Wilderness.
Summoning[]
Ivy is found in Azeos' Wilderness approximately 600 tiles from The Core in an area covered with slime.
An Ivy the Poisonous Mass Scanner can be used to reveal their location on the map. A loud thumping sound can be heard and the screen will begin to shake when Ivy is nearby.
Once defeated Ivy can be re-summoned by placing a Giant Slime Summoning Idol on their rune, located below their original spawn point.
Behavior[]
At full health, Ivy will only begin attacking players within a 6 tile radius of them. Once damaged, this radius expands to 20 tiles.
Ivy attacks by quickly leaping towards the closest player, dealing damage where they land and leaving behind a patch of Ground Poison Slime.
Additionally, Ivy instantly breaks any non-indestructible objects in their path, including walls. Any pits/liquids will be filled in with Grass Block ground.
Every 10–20 seconds Ivy will briefly pause and shoot 12–14 poison mortars from the sky (similar to The Hive Mother). These deal moderate damage on impact and have a 25% chance of summoning a Purple Slime.
If the player moves out of Ivy's range during combat, or Ivy travels more than 25 tiles from their rune, they will return to their rune to regenerate health (10% of their maximum every 5 seconds).
Once Ivy reaches 30% health they will become enraged and begin moving much faster.

Notes[]
- The poison mortars will not spawn a Poison Slime if at least 15 slimes are within an 8 tile radius of the impact location.
- In multiplayer, Ivy gains additional health depending on the amount of players in the world. It will automatically adjust whenever a player joins or leaves the world. The Poison Slimes are unaffected.

Tips[]
- Range weapons (such as the Grubzooka or the Fireball Staff) are vital for the fight since Ivy has similar attack patterns to Glurch, but deals a lot more damage.
- The Grubzooka has the added advantage of passing through the many slime spawns and still damaging Ivy, whereas other range weapons are more likely to be blocked, especially late in the fight.
- If the player has traveled to the Sunken Sea, the Bubble Gun is a great option due to its high fire rate.
- The Purple Slimes summoned by Ivy will always inflict poison on hit, which reduces the amount of healing the player receives by 75%. The Remedaisy Necklace can be used to make the player immune to this effect. Poison Aid Potions can also be used, though they are single use.
- Equipping the Grub Egg Necklace and the Larva Ring will negate the Ground Poison Slime's movement speed reduction.
