Lava

Lava is a glowing liquid found naturally in the Molten Quarry. It behaves like other liquids, flowing into any nearby pits and being able to have bridges built overtop of it. Also like other liquids, lava can be fished in, containing a unique fishing loot pool which includes the Starlight Nautilus. Unlike other liquids however, boats cannot be used in lava.

When lava comes into contact with any water source, a ground Lava Rock Block is created. The lowest priority determines which of the liquids is converted to ground. Lava has a priority of 2, meaning it will convert normal water into ground, while itself being converted into ground when coming into contact with acid water, mold water, shimmering water, grimy water, and sea water.

Lava can be picked up with a Bucket and transported to new locations, retaining its fishing loot pool.
