Omoroth is summoned by fishing with an Expert Lure equipped in one of the large whirlpools found in their arena, which generates approximately 650 tiles from The Core in the Sunken Sea. An Omoroth the Sea Titan Scanner can be used to reveal its location on the map. Note that at least 180 fishing is required to fish in the Sunken Sea, which can be provided by an Octarine Fishing Rod.
Once defeated Omoroth can only be re-summoned after their soul disappears, which takes 5–6 minutes.
Behavior[]
Omoroth spits out a massive stream of whirlwinds that fly in a serpentine pattern away from him. They mostly originate from his mouth area. After a few volleys, Omoroth will submerge and reappear at another whirlpool, and continue their attacks. Meanwhile, groups of three Omoroth's Tentacles will appear around the arena, usually near the player.
Omoroth's Tentacles are different from the standard Tentacles, as they are melee-only. However, they hit extremely hard and do more damage per hit than the whirlwinds. They will automatically despawn after 90 seconds.
If all players die or leave the area while fighting Omoroth, they will submerge and must be re-summoned with a new Expert Lure.
In multiplayer, Omoroth gains additional health depending on the amount of players in the world. It will automatically adjust whenever a player joins or leaves the world.
