Souls are an important part of Core Keeper in both progression and story; the Core promises that in return for collecting each soul, the player will be able to return to the surface.
Once each titan is defeated, they will drop a soul in the spot of their death. Standing under this soul will cause an animation to play, and once completed "Gained soul of <titan name>!" will appear in the player's chat, indicating they successfully obtained the soul's ability. Souls will disappear after 5 minutes, regardless if the player obtained its ability.
Usage[]
Once obtained, soul powers are enabled immediately, and will apply their effects/create their projectiles in the proper conditions unless disabled. Some soul powers can be enhanced by wearing the Godsent King armor set.
Souls can be activated and deactivated in the souls tab, accessible once the Core has been spoken to for the first time. It is located next to the Skills tab.
