Core Keeper Wiki

The world is where all of Core Keeper's gameplay takes place.

Selection[]

After selecting a character to play with, the player will enter the world selection menu where they select a world to enter.

In the menu the following features of a world are shown: slot, name, icon, difficulty, creation date, boss statues activated, and if the world is classic. On the right side there is a button to delete the world and another that opens the world information menu.

The world information menu shows a world's seed and generation settings used. It also allows the player to add new world generation to existing worlds, in the form of "content bundles":

Content bundles
Name Description Added in
Queen of the Burrowed Sands A dangerous enemy has appeared! Adding them may overwrite some already explored areas in the Desert of Beginnings. 1.1.0.1
The Queen's Offspring The Queen's influence extends into nearby areas as well. Adding this bundle introduces a new enemy type to Azeos' Wilderness, which might overwrite some already explored areas in this biome 1.1.0.1
Guaranteed Oases Adding this bundle guarantees that this world gets at least a few Oases biomes in the Desert of Beginnings, even if it has already been fully explored. Doing so will overwrite everything in the areas where they appear. 1.1.0.1
Abiotic Factor Collab A fragment of a research facility has appeared through an extradimensional rift! Adding it may overwrite an already explored area in the Forgotten Ruins. 1.1.1.0
